Charleston South Carolina Skyline.jpg
As the oldest city in South Carolina and one of the oldest in the country, Charleston has a long history full of rich traditions. The city is located near the East Coast and has a range of interesting things to do, ranging from museums and historical sites to music festivals and live theater. Mama’s Used Cars is glad to be located in this gorgeous region where there’s always something to do.

Charleston was founded in 1670 by English settlers and was originally named Charles Town after King Charles II. As a colonial seaport, the city quickly became a center of trade and commerce, as well as one of the wealthiest cities in America. Even after the American Revolution, Charleston prospered thanks to its cultivation and trade or such products as rice, cotton, and indigo.
